Heart Opens Its Eye

It's midnight again.
Thoughts of you follow me like the moon,
Light at my core,
A dream to undress by.
Clothes fall to the floor
like discarded leaves of artichokes.
My heart awake in beloved darkness, trembles.

"Like discarded leaves of artichokes" Yes! A multi-senser. Makes the whole poem, which is o.k. otherwise too. You got it, kid! Love, daver
