Heart On My Sleeve
Am an artist i wear my weary heart on my sleeve
Am an artist am wary of revealing too much
Am also human i do fear the word scandal
Am from a family and family is sacred
We fear so much the dreaded word scandal
Am a free spirit i write from the bottom of my soul
Am a living soul i hurt when rejected and dejected
Am a soul that delights in the love of a female being
Am me being me i abhor all form of pretense vanity
Am human even so i can't divulge all to the society
Am a poet i have to use shorter words
Am a writer i have to elaborate on my story
Am an artist i have unmet goals and expectations
Am an artist my fan's and mentors are unrelenting
I fear ever so much that dreaded word scandal
