Heart of Love

When birds will not sing,

Their flight on silent wings.

The skies shed misty rain,

The shadows darken my weary brain.

The flowers hide beneath darkened leaves...

the sorrow on my heart, a pattern weaves.

Memories of times long ago,

Feelings of immense love flow.

The wisdom you were willing to share

Your strength, your grace, your infinite care.

Missing the magic of your love,

Your spirit flies free with the dove
