Heart of Hearts

If you were mine and if I was yours, What would be the objective view for me to really know you? Would you think the things that I say or say the things that I think, Examining everything that I do? Could your eyes see what it is that I can see? And search for unreachable stars and maybe even talk with ‘em to? And should we ever part, Will my words stay hidden treasures buried inside of your true heart of hearts? Will you think of me from within when stars light up your lonely nights? Revealing the real maps and charts! And should we ever part, Do know that it is I feeling around inside of you pushing ignitions to spark a start. When high winds seize the expression on your face before time takes notice, It is our only breath there is left to share. When the Sun is painfully poised shading your resistant side, It is I adjusting visions commonly balanced by squares. If I was yours and you were mine, What would be the main focal point for you to know the real person inside of me? Would I feel the things that you touch or touch the things that you feel? Then what could you and I both have to say? And if by chance two moments embrace at one time, I shall divide it by one making us the two that will forever be. If tomorrow comes, yet we’re not all done, Our together days we’ll spend waiting for the lovely flowers to bloom in May! When night falls and the Moon peers from your backside, It is you gleaming down on me shining on what we do hide. Perfect skies and clean air to breathe I stir the man in the Moon, Getting caught with my heart of hearts just in time for His high tide! ® Registered: Ann Rich 2002
