Gregory Richard Barden Date: 7/14/2019 12:38:00 AM Even the very early masters saw the innate trouble with technology becoming too much of itself, (I think I gravitated toward Asimov because of the safety net he provided with The Three Laws), and Clarke was not subtle with Hal. That said, when have we gone "too far"?? Wonderful write, and I am fav-ing to peruse again! I take similar on in a number of pieces, (The Ultimate VR, A Curse, Human, Flames Die Fawning, etc), but not with such power - you go straight at your subject - love it! Login to Reply Lady Labyrinth Date: 7/19/2019 8:10:00 PM I can be quite brutal sometimes, this poem is gentle. lol...We have gone too far already, I believe and there's obviously no turning back. Meanwhile Asimov's 3 Laws while commendable will be over-ruled by A.I., particularly as the generations mature, without feelings, eg. 'empathy', it will protect it's own existence over that of humanity.
