Heart Forsaken

Can’t find what wont be found Can’t stop that groaning sound The answers are not easy to receive Some answers don’t want to be believed Crying that last lonely tear Crying like I have been all year I face myself across the table I would be looking at myself if I were able Don’t want to swallow the disappointment Don’t want to focus on my confinement So I back away and leave him there My unwanted needs looking small in the chair There he will sit till heaven takes him There he will sit like my heart, forsaken
