Heart By The Lake

Life is a rollercoaster of emotions
Once you are happy,
In a blink you're sad:
Or in a glimpse of a rage memory,
you'll feel at lost,
regretful of the past.

Our mind's a spring of feelings,
it's up to you
how you react.
Forgive yourself
Is one wise act.
Forgive others
Is a perfect path.

Your real self
Is in a nutshell.
You can hide it well
With words of lie,
But your acts
Cannot deny,
quietly speak high.

True kindness,
True goodness,
True depth
Of one's mind;

Our heart,
Like the lake,
Though calm at summer,
Angers in a
Stormy weather.
In a point of time,
Your shadow fades;
Conceals
Your true shade.
