Heart Behind the Wall

It never fails,
My heart is behind these walls.
I keep living the never ending nightmare,
Like the moths burning thru the flame.
This wall is so high and so thick,
Not even prince charming can knock it down.
My heart is behind these walls to keep me safe from harm.
Harm that others have stole upon me,
I am tired of the lies, I am tired of the dagger thrusted into my trust of honesty.
My heart is behind walls,
never to be knocked down.
Because I cant trust no more,
your lies are clear.
Your lies are my tears I cry.
My heart is behind these walls never to shine upon again.
Kept locked away from harm,
never to feel the pain of another lie again.

I like the ending "the heart had shown, God blessed his own."

I can a little bit relate. I hope to encourage you to tear down the wall, because while its true that will keep hurt away a wall also keeps away hope and healing.
