Hearing With Your Mind
Sounds that only colors can express,
Lending closed eyes to visions found softly in dreams,
Silently your greatest wishes speak to you,
Fondest hopes become real in a fuzzy floating world,
No one else welcomed into it without thoughtful desire,
Spirit whispering of a place you'll soon join,
Discovering that pain is as mortal as your earthly temple,
Ears drumming out a living tempo as you slumber,
Waking one day to that heaven until now only imagined.

"A poem to me is the essence of any thought,
Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."
