Hear Now the Father's Lullaby
Beneath the wounds
of condescend
What mortal soul
could comprehend
The broken spirit's
Deep breathed sigh,
Now hear
The Father's lullaby;
'Child Mine,
you're in my view
Come in and dine
I'm near to you
Come now child
take my hand
For your Father
understands
A gift was purchased
at greatest price
For you, accept my
sacrifice
Call on Me, My Love
is true'
Oh hear the Savior
call to you!
'Come now child'
How He implores
You ARE the child
That He adores
Your wounds
The Father
comprehends
What mortal soul
could understand?
