Listen to poem:

Hear Me Jesus

Inspired by a poem written by Eileen Manassian entitled "Will You Let Me"
Which I encourage everyone to read. Thank You.

Hear me Jesus I beseech you
As I fall on bended knees
All I've got, I have been given
Bless me once more if you please

I want to share with all the others
Those who have the eyes to see
All my sisters and my brothers
Those special gifts you gave to me

I want you to penetrate my heart
I willfully offer you my soul
To do the things that you have done
Everywhere that I may go

Chorus
Let your Love conquer evil, as of course, I know it will
Bless the race that I must run
With a mission to fulfill

Instrumental

I need the strength every day,
Only you can provide
It's by this I know you're with me
And I need not run and hide

I know this world paints a picture
Of hopelessness pain and fear
I will always love your word
And hold your sacrifice so dear

Chorus
Let your Love conquer evil, as of course, I know it will
Bless the race that I must run
With a mission to fulfill

Singing is praying twice! In your immense compassion hear us Lord.

Such a powerful prayer in lyrical form, Jerry. Your faith shines so clearly in these verses. I especially love the chorus—it's both a plea and a proclamation. Keep letting His light guide your words!
