Healing Station

Know the people who practice here are here for you, Whether they're doctors, nurses, or work here as staff. You'll soon understand that here they remain to you true, You're not just mere numbers, digits on some graph. Because the world tends to forget to be tender It can be hard to find some place to land that's soft. Here there's floors, beds, you'll find more than one defender. They'll pick you up, mend you, send you safely aloft. While you're here you will know Mercy's own saving light, You will know the most Human form of salvation. So breathe easy now, this is a most hallowed site, Where all employ efforts, a most healing station. They grant warmth to compassion's moving projections, And give sense to those of us lost in directions.

You bring back memories of myself as a student nurse at Loyoa U in Chicago. I have worked as a ward clerk and a nurse's aide, as well. Hospitals are for more than Covid,As far as I know. I liked my time caring for others. Unique Sonnet,,,,Panagiota

Good one. I feel it is about staff at a hospital during this pandemic. I know it must be hard on all of them. I can't imagine what they are going through. Sara
