Healing Power of Forgiveness
The healing power of FORGIVENESS has brought me gratitude,
in moments of atonement I feel a positive attitude-
CLEMENCY with amnesty brings me to a compassionate place,
as I pardon from my heart with sincerity and grace.
I find giving MERCY onto others brings me joy and beatitude.
Absolution and restitution for wrongs committed onto me,
can bring such appreciation and alleviation with LENIENCY-
Acknowledging that one can cause hurt and be redeemed,
can bring them to feel comfort and give them high esteem.
For in deep REPRIEVE a restless soul can be set free.
I have afflicted and caused harm to others in my days,
caused injury and heartache in so many awful ways-
But so many times I have been forgiven with ease,
and I find SOLACE in exoneration; my remorse starts to cease.
I can only pray that the pity and condonation stays.
Dismissal and KINDNESS, I shall shower onto family and friends,
I know in that moment it is time to make amends-
So, when I feel wounded and pained from others,
I shall remember they are BLESSED sisters and brothers.
Forgiveness is BENEVOLENCE; mercy, my soul recommends.
