Head In Check
I look back on the memories
to remind myself
what got me hooked
to know it's more than
where we're at now
I look back at my smile
and don't see other times
when I was that happy
I need to focus on that
not where we're at now
I need to understand
the definition of love
and let myself feel it
I look forward into the future
and see that love in action
but it's worth and shows so much more
