He Won’t Be Denied

Isaiah 53:3 - He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Inside, colors of hope, faith and love
All the music played by the Father above
Melodies written to reassure and stir
Joy beyond words – even when life’s such a blur

Inside, aching to be heard and understood
All the reasons that I know God is so good
The One who provides me with inspiration
The One who saved me from eternal damnation

Inside, feelings of light soothe each pain
And, I know that I have so much to gain
With Him beside me, there isn’t a doubt inside
He’s the reason – the reason I’ve always tried

Inside, breaking through the skies like the sun
In the morning, when I realize He is the only One
Worthy of my devotion, worthy of all my heart’s best
Because I know Him – there is no doubt, I’ve been blessed!

Inside, I don’t always see through the shadows
All the grief, though I know the One who arose
Writing my story with a pen of sweetest grace
Promising me glory with a heart I will always embrace

Inside, I may never be able to sing of all the ways
He is giving me the wonder in all the wonderful days
He is the reason that I will always say I’m satisfied
He is the miracle that no believer alive could have denied
