He Will Warmly Welcome Us
In this world of worries and woes
Filled with many friendly foes;
We cannot but rely on Jesus,
He will defend and deliver us.
In this field of failures and fears
twilight terrors ignite tears.
We cannot but call on Jesus,
He will constantly comfort us.
In this stream of stress and sorrow,
soiled with uncertain tomorrow.
We cannot but trust in Jesus,
He will shield and preserve us.
In this land of grave lack and loss,
where every conqueror has a cross.
We cannot but walk with Jesus,
He will save and strengthen us.
In this life and that which is to come,
all saints shall surely overcome.
We will certainly meet with Jesus,
He will warmly welcome us.
