He Will Learn

She is so sweet and good and kind the new guy said to me.
I knew better, but he would learn.
She has been the meanest person in the family forever.
Cobra mean, grizzly bear mean, alligator mean.
Her heart has cut up men and eaten them.
I keep my words closed inside my mouth.
He is saying other nice things about her.
I know better.
But why ruin things for her?
This is her eighth time to the altar.
Maybe this time it will work out.
In the meantime, he will learn.

Experience many must gain, having no discernment, having experienced no pain.

Thank you Ilene. I shall take a bow. And quickly before Trixie returns from Jan's house.

...and I wouldn't hold my breath. Most people stay pretty much the same after they have shown their stripes and spots!

I dare say she will be on number twelve soon. She can only pretend to be kind and sweet for a few months.
