He Whispers

his eyes follow me and he whispers-  come my beauty
as I stand staring at this old painting of a man
his dark eyes are fathomless pools-  and I am drawn to him
I could love this man within a frame, old
I want to stroke his long, soft raven hair
kiss his full lips and hands . . .
