He Was Mine
Yes he may have been a liar
May have been hard work
Irritating at times
A school boy at its worst
Gleefully cheeky
Suddenly shy
Extremely sexy
Any woman would find
An amazing kisser
A lover to last
Your making me angry
As he was my heart
He may have been ignorant to your troubles
And mine
Shyly creative
Honestly blind
Lovingly stupid
Beautifully versed
Amazingly manly
Even at his worst
Yes he was an addict
That's why he's not here
You say I should of told you
But our problems were clear
He died in his sleep
I was laying right there
Your blaming me for his departure
There is hate in your eyes
It's all my fault you say
Well this is a surprise
So tell me something
Explain it right now
Where were you
When he was a teen
Sniffing glue, smoking pipes and
Doing E's
Where were you when he started injecting drugs
Still a child that's what he was
He was my hell
My heaven
My earth
My gold
My silver
My darkness
My sky
But most importantly
He was mine
