He Walks With Me
From each breath that I easily take
The transgressions and trials I encounter to make
He walks with me
The indiscretions I am not too fond of to seek
The words in my intentions I hesitantly speak
He still walks with me
These qualities remain the same
Yet this part time dream is getting old, in a changing mind frame
No longer broken I can't help but smile
Holding my head high in a conceived new outlook, a brand new style
He walks with me
The beginning of a new era, the birth of a brighter day
Even when obstacles make it mission to hinder the way
I am assured he always walked with me
Carried me through the days and nights
When my feet were too weary to go on
He keeps me walking determined by soul saving faith
Just another day... I am forgiven
At his mercy and will I am still living
There's no height I dare not climb
In eternal sunshine I can claim mine
He walks with me... always
And I offer endless praise!
