He Walked Effortlessly In Her Kingdom
There was an earthiness, a wildness,
and a sincerity about him that appealed to the forest.
She enveloped him in her midst,
showering him with natural love from her mosses, and mushrooms.
He walked gently through her, reveling in the reverence of the silence,
admiring her tiny white and purple violets.
Deer walked gingerly through the grass, beside him,
without fear, understanding his keen empathy.
An environmentalist who appreciated,
and exuded love for the forest,
he walked effortlessly in her kingdom.
A humble man,
he did not fully appreciate the deference
the forest was giving him or the unprecedented amount of respect.
