He Thanks a Distant Observer
I was blessed by the Lord with a very lifting and gentle breeze,
A lady entered my life and set my mind and soul at comforting ease,
She sees all that I do that is inside my thoughts and in my heart,
Peace that I needed when this began so long ago at the start.
Thank you for believing in me; this made me bright today,
I had not smiled like I did this very morning or in that way,
Simply because I was not believed before you came along,
In my prolonged grief or the lies that people create in song.
