He Spoke To No One

He spoke to no one keeping his pain to himself. No one knew. Everyone was busy. They did not know him. They might have cared if they had known. He had spent his entire life being silent. Not speaking up for himself was his familial pattern. He tried his best to be invisible. Not that it helped. When he went to school, his teachers tried to get him to speak. But he had already lost his voice. He passed silently, as he had lived. No one remembering. No one knowing him Really.

Thank you Line. It is touching when I see it, and it is so difficult to watch happen...

So often, the little ones have lost hope by the time they get to school at age five. I have seen it at age three also.
