He Spied Her

A spider named Deb was spinning her web When along came a spider named Jeb Though Deb was twice his size Jeb saw love in her eyes So Jeb built a web with great skill His silky threads gave Deb a thrill They both shared a web of romance Then one day Jeb saw his chance And he moved in for a kiss For a moment of bliss But poor Jeb had been misled Now he's hanging by a thread! 328-2021 Nursery Rhyme 3 Poetry Contest Sponsor: Eve Roper
