Notes About The Poem

He Slammed the Door

He slammed his heavy door, right in gracious
    friendships’ face?

She cried heavy tears, into a dainty handkerchief
    of lovely, lilac lace.

The silver moon rose in the sky, she heard it whisper,
    with a cloudy sigh:

“God did see that email, and your new, best friend
     is nigh!!”

This was an incident, a while back, its so easy to say cliched, isnt it? But when someone takes a chisel to your heart..it doesnt feel very comforting, does it? Great poetry, plays and novels bear this truth out! Examplle=Romeo amd Juliet Pangie xx

The moon carries many secrets - not all are shared - for she has a dark side. This poem could be the start of a novel - a murder mystery perhaps or a love story? - the moon, in her wisdom will decide.. A curious but intriguing poem, dear Pangie! :))

Ah, you creative one, this is simply about a male poet (or more than one) who ended a friendship(s) here by cruelty, and buffoonery. There are women poets who joined them in a destructive poem about me. All but one are stii here. That was the meaning of this.! I am glad you saw more possibilities and not the grief this caused me. However, as you see, I am still here! I do not fold! I am quite indestructible! )) Thank you. Pangie xx

A sweet poem that describes a breakup. But perhaps she will find a better one, anyhow. It's sad but a very good poem.

Hi Dear Pangie, this emotive poem sure says so much about friendship. A misunderstanding, heated words, a disagreement, etc. can injure or kill a friendship. I can relate very much to this stirring verse. Hugs xxooxx

Hi my friend! Yes, things in emails can blow a good frienship to bits….in life as well. Sometimes, not all people are nice!you know that! I do in spades)) the point was the last line. G-d sends a new friend…we forigive and forget the past. God will take care of any Creeps who harm us. I have seen it in action. Pangie xx Thank you.
