He Said She Said
He said, "Hello and just who might you be?"
She said, "I might be me,so are you free?"
It was such an electrifying attraction
It demanded immediate mutual reaction
He said, "I could love you with all my heart"
She said, "I felt the same way from the start"
All anyone could want and then some, some would say
With all they had so sad greed got in the way
He said a harsh word here and she said one there
She said it's not perfect, He said so why care?
Not the true romance they thought it should be
They searched for more and set each other free
She said years later, "He's the one that got away."
He said I remember when, when he passed that same day!
