My husband is the only member of my family who reads all of my poems and likes them. The rest of my family does not read any of them. Yesterday he told me about this great story he thought he had seen on Facebook. He asked me if I had seen it. I told him that I had because it was not on Facebook. It was on AP and I wrote it. It was this one.

He loved her, but could not propose. He needed a blessing or something. She wondered how much longer they would date; it had been ten years. I need a sign, he told his dreams nightly. He needed Grandpa's blessing. Flock of seagulls divebombed them and their red umbrellas. He immediately proposed and they ran in the rain, holding hands. His granddad's favorite band was Flock of Seagulls from Liverpool.

Caren, Wow, now that's a perfect storybook ending. A Flock of Seagulls in a poem's sign; the perfect marriage. A proposal done without haste, and certainly not lacking in taste. Also a very special Fave. -Richard

We are very lucky. We need no other readers, but it is nice to have them too.
