He Loved the Fire
He loved the fire
Entranced by it’s dance
The back and forth motion
A scorching, romance
I was the ember
She, the flame
I was loyal and fierce
She was hard to attain
His eyes were fixed
On her fickle flow
He watched her transform
As I burned, down below
I fueled her motion
She swayed to the beat
She was just an illusion
I was concrete
