He Lied Cheated His Ways Were Obscene

He lied. He cheated. His ways were obscene.
He could be unruly and truly mean.
In every kind of way
I really must say
His integrity decidedly not keen.

Sounds like a limerick about Trump! If not, at least it fits him! Yes, Karen, the "father of Western music" was judgedas second rate by his contemporaries and ignored until Mendelssohn resurrected him to glory. Besides a prolific composer (over a tousands works) he was also a prolific generator od children (over 20), aided by two wives. A favorite of mine. Thanks for the stop by. / M
