He Is Your Friend

Slain by the priest
Slain by his hand
His blood poured out
All over the earth
Oh how it changed
the color of dark
It changed it to light

Light of the world
The Savior of men
Light of the world
He is your friend
In Him you’ll find
The deepest joy
Joy in the world
That makes you
So sad and worn
Worn out with grief
Torn by the pain
For the asking
Freedom to reign

Light of the world
The Savior of men
He is your Guide
He is your Friend
