He Drowned Me

He drowned me

Love that four letter word that requires attention. For I have drowned in these
Words. I have loved so hard, and fought
That i loss myself.

He drowned me, he dammed me to hell,
He hit me I thought this was love.
I laid there an accepted my faith for
I had nothing left to give. I loss myself
For that four letter word.

He protected me, and also rejected me
I wasn't good enough for thee. Why did
He continuously drown me?

I started to drown myself for attention
I cut myself for pleasure, he laughed
He cared not for me, he wanted to
All along drown me.
