He Does Not Understand

He doesn’t understand
By luxu

The seeds have sprouted
The seedlings in the field are stronger
The Ears of paddy have appeared
Strings of grains of rice are ripe and gold
Harvest them and dry them in the sun
All finally have been carried into the barn

The old farmer brought a stool and sat
Narrowed his eyes
Looking up at the sky
Thinking about the harvest this year
The water pipe smoke was purring happily
An old dog, be free and at leisure
Not far away
Taking a nap

The TV in the room
Are repeating the spirit of the Eighteenth or Nineteenth Party Congress
The old farmer doesn't understand, nor he will
He only cares about the weather
And asks his son if the sky tomorrow
Will change.

How short may be our vision And we must make a decision; Enjoy all; Water fall; Should surely let go of precision.
