He Came In the Flesh

I believe in a power
Much higher than me
My Lord the creator
The Prince of all Peace

He once came in the flesh
To pay for our sins
When they overtake goodness
He'll return again

He was nailed to the cross
Betrayed and then beat
Wearing a crown made of thorns
He died of deceit

He rose from the grave
To bring glory again
So that any man
Can be forgiven of sin

He'll answer your prayers
Should you turn to him
We may die on this earth
But we'll live again
