He

As he
Looks through the years
Looks though these tears
Looks at that which can never be

No escape from this
You are so far
This end so near
Is there no other way

No Way to change what was
No Way to right this wrong

He searches for that which will set him free
He has left the path that nature bestowed upon him
Now lost in a waste land
Days Months and years
Never will this road end

The cruel price of an angry god
Natures revenge for disobedience

Call it what you will

Sacrifice
Penance
Pound of flesh

The Devil get’s his due In the end

He can never be what he was
Only that which he has become
