Hbo

Not sure if
Inspiration’s a consequence
Of boredom, frustration, talent,
But strikes like lightning.
Sitting at my office, drinking cold Zephyrhills…12:26PM
I began to write this down
 Strip the emotion
 Dust the word,
Nervous this laidback instant
Will soon transform to enumerable last minute
Script adaptation requests and late night voice over sessions.
Best I check my emails…

Make sure the boss is not walking around to see if the agenda has been completed for the project. I know the feeling. I like your use of figurative language. This is very memory refreshing, and I can see the imagery in this one quite clearly. Great job! ~Joseph

This is such a striking poem on writing. Love lines 7 and 8--so creative. The last line made me chuckle. Thanks for the day brightener. Thank you for your comments on "Empty Shell." Though I've had experience with Alzheimer's, my dad is well--thought you may want to know. Sorry that your mother-in-law has been stricken my this dreadful disease. My thoughts and prayers go with you. Keep on writing! Karen
