Hazy Memory

The past is
just
    a wisp of
 smoke
     in the blue sky
     you won't
be able
to catch it
as it flies by
But take the time
to remember
  Take the time to leave
the present behind
Dance through
  the time - tunnel
     and live in
the past for a
while
     The fog is thick
but with a strong
heart and
     a powerful
lighthouse on shore
  we'll make it
through
  despite the
    waves
which seem to
be growing ever
   larger
    We'll withstand
the buffeting of
    time
Laugh once again
at
  the transitory, cosmic
joke
   which encompasses
    us all
