Hazey
Eyes shine at one thought of you.
Tears shed over many nights of solitude.
Pain unending seems immense.
Love lost,
tears evaporate like mist
sacred memories
like a lovers first kiss.
What of the years
put to no use?
Hanging, waiting,
neck tied to a noose.
Give back my breath
I've been holding too long.
Love I once knew
now too far gone.
