and I finally felt connected to someone
She sang with the most melodious of voices
and I finally felt peace
She whispered her darkest of secrets
and I finally felt important
and then she gasped her final words
and I finally felt the warmth of my tears
I love you too, Haylea
and because of you, I am finally strong enough to tell you
