Havoc

'Tis like I walk knee deep in mud Where once though I was gliding, Had my heart misunderstood You now seem undeciding. Love I thought came to the fore My eager heart was flying, Yet now it lay upon the floor Were all my hopes now dying. I dared not guess, nor enquire, I was awash with dread, Oh how love, rife with desire Wrought havoc with my head.
