Have You Hugged a Llama Today

One for you kiddies out there! Have you hugged a llama today Or a bunny or a kangaroo You'll feel all squiggly and giggly inside And a bit rumpity bumpity too Not only will you feel all squiggly inside But these guys will be wearing a grin They sure like receiving those huggeroonies You'll notice their tails start to spin So if you spy a sad looking teddy Or a kitten with eyes full of tears Tell them you love 'em and hold 'em tight You'll chase away all of their fears Tonight when Mommy tucks you in And gives you a big snuffily kiss Remember the lonely animals out there Blow them a kiss and don't miss There's a moral here but I haven't found it Maybe it's hiding under a chair Hugging llamas and other poor creatures Will really show that you care © Jack Ellison 2013

Took you advice and submitted a bunch to about 35 to 40 publishers. They all say it will say up to six months to say yea or nay! Never know but if I do hit, I'll take and your hubby out for a feast! Hugs and much love, Jack xox

Now you've done it... I hugged De- dragon... and wished he'd turned into de dragon fly afterward... when he tried to sit on my lap... for a night, night kiss... Now I'll have to find de new chair... Dumb Dragon!

Awwww, this is a sweet poem Jack! I know you have a tender heart and you shower it out to everyone! Can I hug a llama, or is that only for children? I like llamas, but my favorite animals are Yorkies(a kind of dog), they are adorable, I have one and he is a stubborn but loving dog! I just think to hug a llama would be special...how many people can say they have done that? You have done awesome work here my friend, a gorgeous poem! I loved what you have done this piece this morning! Great Work!!

Have been trying to interesting publishers of children's books with my poems geared towards the kiddies. No luck so far but keep though fingers and toes crossed! Thanks again Russell!
