Have you ever felt unappreciated

Have you ever felt unappreciated
and unloved 
and constantly misunderstood

By the one person 

That should have always cared

But for some reason it never showed

And that’s when you realized

That your love was 
being taken for granted

Because some how they 
got lost in there own lives

And failed to recognize

The true beauty of a love that 
could be shared
mutually amongst themselves

And that’s why you felt unappreciated
and unloved
and constantly misunderstood

Because they were unable to love themselves

( We have all gone through these experiences at one time or another in our lives and we
try to grow from these experiences so that we can ultimately have better communication
skills when it comes to the relationships that we have by loving ourselves first and
foremost so that we can love our partners equally in return )
