Have You Ever
Have you ever questioned why
a sad movie makes you cry?
Have you ever died inside,
contemplating suicide?
Have you ever felt let down,
or faced a nervous breakdown?
Have you ever wept a tear,
spilled entirely out of fear?
Have you ever felt cheated,
despondent and defeated?
Have you ever felt alone,
constantly checking your phone?
Have you ever lied to win,
aware that it was a sin?
Have you ever doubted God,
thinking religion's a fraud?
Have you ever lost your pain,
only to find it again?
Have you ever blamed someone,
for something that you had done?
Have you ever snuck away,
after promising to stay?
Have you ever doubted love,
in a world of push and shove?
