Have You Ever

Have you ever been caught in a storm,
And didn't know where to run,
When dark clouds prevailed, and took away your sun?

Have you ever been lonely, and didn't know why?
Have you even been hurt, but yet couldn't cry?

Did you ever accept for truth, what you knew to be a lie?
Have you ever had your heart broken,
And gave it one more try?

Have you ever wanted to quit,
But knew that was not an option?
Have you ever been without a gift,
And the less deserved, got one?

Have you ever asked, Lord why me,
when you were blind sighted
And just couldn't see?

Have you met the Heavenly Father?
For he understands.
And his will for you, it supersedes man.

So, be forever mindful, that you are not alone,
that God has his hand on you,
as he sits upon the throne.
