Have You Completed Anything Yet

She had talked her uncle into being her money patron at last. He encouraged her to purchase skeins of yarn; it was a blast! She kept telling him that she was making something for him. She would have one idea, then go off on another whim. Have you finished anything? He asked her after sixteen years. That she was only wasting his yarn money was one of his fears. So, she came out wearing a hat with skeins of yarn on her head. Speechless was her former patron, her annoyed Uncle Ted.

I have bags of yarn that Deb never did anything with. She'd buy the yarn with the best of intentions, but never seemed to finish a project. Oh well...must be a common thing. Thanks for calling this to mind, Caren.

It is truly common - but many ladies would love that yarn. I have a granddaughter who crochets. She adores yarn!

Gosh Caren. This strikes home with me. I currently have no less than five crochet and embroidery projects started (Christmas). Scary! I do finish them. I just get bored with one and switch to another for awhile. It's that mercurial streak I have ;) LOL

I get bored too, which is why I work on 10-21 paintings at the same time.

“former patron”—He gave up! As a sometime crochet-er and an avid yarn buyer I’m loving that hat idea! -ps
