Have Time For Me

Have Time for Me

Have time for me
Lift me when I’m low
Set my spirit free
Let my mirth flow.

Have time for me
When weak, ill or sick
 Restore ebbing glee
In this flesh lethargic.

Have time for me
To listen to my plea
Take away my misery
Throw it into the sea!

Have time for me
In spirit am a child
Or bird in the tree
Allow me to be mild!

Have time for me
 Guide, lead the way
Take away mystery
Find me when I’m lost.

Have time for me
To sing, write & dance
Not for a fare or fee
But infinite chance,

To have time for me
To write and to share
And, to let me be
Where ever I dare!

When I composed this poem Soupers were in my mind. This is a plea for love, patience, guidance et. A confession that I'm not perfect, others should lend me their time. Thanks Linda, you always have time for me!
