Have the Strength of God
Have God’s strength* to win over corruption
As His sanctified, combating filthiness
Washed by Christ’s blood of redemption-completeness
Cleansed toward purification’s perfection.
Have God’s might to avoid backsliding-perversion
As His stewardship, serving with prayer’s steadfastness
Governed with His wisdom, anchored upon truthfulness
Trained toward discipleship’s effective function.
*Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
