Have Mercy

Have mercy, I do it once and it's okay if I am sorry I assure thee there will be tears none of them mine, you need not worry I never had much of a lot to start with All of my life I've been so damn cold hearted She loves me and the winds blow If just to ease the pressure Admittedly it's not alright As it is wrong in equal measure Some y'loose n' some y'win Still it doesn't really change anything Put all virtue in a ball n' throw it down T'was no virtue at all if it doesn't bounce Have mercy Jungle rules will keep a woman's mind occupied, they call it common sense Come the final hour and you find her unprotected innocence I never said that I will but I just might Take a little pill if it will help me sleep at night I work all day and rest at night At least I try to make it look that way Money will not make you happy But then happy is not all I say Catch your breath and stay in step man Like there's no end to what you do n' can Some I lose but I won't keep from trying Little boys take the ball and run home crying Have mercy
