Have I Not Cried Enough

Will you give me a reason?
Every time I try, I'm pushed back
Every road I take, takes me to circles
Have I not tried enough?

I have closed so many doors,
Opened so many windows,
Turned on the darkest room's lights
And swam a river of tears

I reached out and walked to your world
Held your hand and danced to your rhythm
Closed my eyes and slept to our dreams
Have I not tried enough?

Dear I asked, take me to where it is
Your blanket of warmth beneath this cold
Will you give me a reason
Have I not cried enough?
