Have I Not

If I fell behind
Let me be
Rewire my mind
Until I see
All that was
Will be and is
Given to me
Have I not
Mastered my craft
Have I not
Given you
Enough of a laugh
Pretend I’m the sky
Crack the earth
And fracture into
A million pieces
And you
You just go on
Nonchalant
An infinity
On your arm
Let it be
Supple sultry
And free
