Have Faith
Have Faith
There Was a Time in My Life
When Things Were Very Bad
Nothing I Did Seemed Right
And I Became More than Sad
The Bills I Couldn't Pay
And the Groceries I Couldn't Buy
Took Me down the Path of Despair
I Had No Answer for the Question "Why?"
No One I Knew Could Help Me
They Had Troubles of Their Own
I Didn't Know Where to Turn
And Couldn't Even Take out a Loan
I Had Reached Rock Bottom
And I Knew Complete Despair
How Could I Possibly Keep Traveling
Down this Road That Led No Where?
I Laid down in Bed One Night
Drowning in All My Woes
Thinking... I Won't Wake up
And Not Face this Pain That Grows
Then Somewhere Deep Inside
I Thought I Heard a Voice
And it Said, "Why Don't You Pray?
It Would Give You Another Choice?"
That Had Never Occurred to Me
Maybe I'd Give it a Try
Lord Knows Nothing Else Worked
And it Wasn't Something to Buy
That Night Changed My Life
My Troubles Melted Away
I Marked down the Time and Date
The Night I Learned to Pray
So If You Have Big Troubles
Oh, I Can Relate to That
Remember There Is Help for You..
I Know this for a Fact
